Getting there, away and around

Situated in the heart of Croatia's Central Dalmatian region, Tucepi (pop: 1,500) forms part of Makarska Riviera-a subregion consisting of about dozen towns and villages placed along Split-Dubrovnik road on a 60 km stretch. When arriving from Split, the town comes right after Makarska (pop: 10,000), a subregion's hub, both in terms of culture and transportation. Main bus lines go through Makarska's bus terminal, and regular fery lines connect mainland to the surrounding islands, mainly Hvar and Brac.

Getting there and away
Tucepi is easily accessible both by road and by sea. Trains and Airplanes will get you as far as Split, from where you can catch a bus or a boat. Please note that
Tucepi has a modern harbour with about 200 moors, should you arrive with a yacht. Also, Tucepi has an ideal georaphical situation as it is close to both Dubrovnik and Split, as well as islands Brac, Hvar, Korcula, etc. Therefore, if you wish to get around and see as many places as posible, while in Dalmatia, then Tucepi, for its convenience, is the place from where you can plan those daily trips.

| Buses bound for Dubrovnik and/or Ploce go through Tucepi. On the other han, you may take a bus to Makarska, get off there at the Bus Terminal and then catch a local bus to Tucepi (it takes about five minutes). Note that there are three bus stops in Tucepi. When ariving from Makarska direction, please get off on 3rd.

Finding us in Tučepi
