It stretches from one end of Tuepi to the other, approx. 1.5 km alongside the beach. Pretty much everything revolves around it: shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
It was in Upper Tuepi where christian refugees from Ottoman-occupied Herzegowina first settled 300 years ago. Word "Tuepi" signifies "a place with thousand springs", which is accurate, given the number of fresh water springs in this area. Some people still live in Upper Tuepi, which actually is a system of smaller villages connected with narrow roads.
